As part of its efforts to expand sales of beer for business use, Asahi Breweries will launch a nationwide "Dare to Bottle" sales promotion program for bottled beer at restaurants. The idea is to promote the value of drinking beer in small groups or at one's own pace, other than at banquets, mainly to young people. The company will provide promotional tools such as posters for in-store use. Based on the results of tests conducted at about 10 stores in Tokyo, the company plans to expand the program nationwide. "Dare to bottle" is used as a keyword to make consumers reaffirm the value of bottled beer.
